Ride Characteristics
Do you know which fairing you prefer? If you do, then that makes the choice easy. The 2023 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide® has a frame-mounted fairing, which is known as the shark nose. The 2023 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide® has a fork-mounted fairing, which is known as the batwing. It really comes down to preference. How does it feel cutting through the wind, riding in the rain or turning the fairing? There is no right or wrong answer here, and you’ll likely need a test ride in order to decide. The other characteristics are the same, including a windscreen, two-up seating, floorboards, saddlebags, an infotainment system and, optionally, advanced safety enhancements.
Performance
The 2023 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide® and the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide® are powered by the Milwaukee-Eight® 107 V-twin engine. This is the most prevalent engine used throughout the H-D® lineup, and it delivers plenty of performance for the average rider. If you decide you want more power down the road, you can always have use install one of the Screamin’ Eagle® upgrade kits.
Infotainment
Both of these models come with the Boom!™ Box infotainment system. A 4.3-inch color touch screen is standard. A 6.5-inch color touch screen with a more robust feature set is optional. Both bikes have the same audio, which has two 5.25-inch speakers that provide 25 watts per channel.
Technologies
ABS and the linked Brembo brakes are available through Harley-Davidson® of Panama City Beach as standalone options. You also have the option of the advanced rider assists, and that suite adds TPMS, vehicle hold control and a range of cornering-enhanced systems.
Customization
The design options are the same for both models. Vivid Black with a chrome aesthetic is the standard appearance included in the MSRP. The premium options are Redline Red and Atlas Silver Metallic, which have a chrome aesthetic as well.
Special Editions
