All eight 2023 Harley-Davidson® Cruiser category models are now available at Harley-Davidson® Of Panama City Beach, and if you’re an experienced rider, then you probably have a clear idea of which model best suits your needs and preferences. But for many new enthusiasts, all that choice can seem a bit overwhelming, and with that in mind, let’s provide a brief overview of your options.
All modern Harley-Davidson® Cruiser category models are built on the Softail® platform. The Softail® Standard is the prototype. It delivers the quintessential Harley-Davidson® cruiser experience. It’s powered by the Milwaukee-Eight® 107 engine and has a classic chrome aesthetic with a Vivid Black paint scheme.
Street Bob® 114
The Street Bob® 114 has the more powerful Milwaukee-Eight® 114 engine. This is a muscle cruiser as opposed to a standard cruiser and an excellent option for the rider who wants to use their cruiser for more than just cruising. It also boasts a more modern blacked-out aesthetic instead of chrome.
Fat Bob® 114
Many of the other Harley-Davidson® Cruiser category models iterate on the Street Bob® concept. The Fat Bob® is more performance oriented and introduces some sport bike-like elements. It has fatter tires, forward foot controls, cruise control and a more aggressive 2-into-2 exhaust.
Low Rider® S
The Low Rider® S is inspired by the West Coast muscle cruisers of the 1960s. It is powered by the even more powerful Milwaukee-Eight® 117 engine. It delivers an aggressive riding experience with sport bike agility and handling, and it has moto-style drag bars.
Low Rider® ST
The Low Rider® ST is one of two 2023 Harley-Davidson® Cruiser category models that blurs the line between cruiser and tourer. ST stands for sport touring. The Low Rider® ST is equipped much like the Low Rider® S except that it also has a fairing, windscreen and stretched saddlebags.
Fat Boy® 114
The Fat Boy® 114 is one of the most iconic Harley-Davidson® cruisers thanks in large part to Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2. The original design goal was to modernize the 1949 Hydra-Glide, and it has a massively wider rear tire that lets it handle all of the additional torque that it delivers.
The Breakout® is a returning model that was retired for a bit before being redesigned. This is perhaps the brashest of the cruisers available at Harley-Davidson® Of Panama City Beach. It has a thin front tire, which is in stark contrast to the rear tire, which is massively wide like the one found on the Fat Boy®.
The Heritage Classic is the other H-D® cruiser that blurs the line between cruiser and touring motorcycle, but this one does it with more traditional appeal in terms of looks, sound and feel. This model has found success not just among touring enthusiasts but riders who want a versatile bike that can meet all of their needs.
