What’s New for 2023
A great deal is new with the 2023 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® and 2023 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Street Glide®. These models are now powered by Harley-Davidson®’s newest air-cooled engine. The fairings have been redesigned for a sleeker and more modern appearance. The brand has introduced a new 12.3-inch touch screen, which is the largest display on a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle ever. The rear suspension has been revised, and both the front and rear suspension receive new Showa components.
Ride Characteristics
The most notable difference when comparing the 2023 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Street Glide® vs 2023 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® is the fairing design. The Street Glide® has a fork-mounted fairing, which is Harley-Davidson®’s iconic batwing. The Road Glide® has a frame-mounted fairing, which is the brand’s equally iconic shark-nose fairing. The fairing does change the feel of the tourer, and which is ideal comes down to preference. These models are otherwise essentially the same and deliver a premium touring experience but aren’t full dressers as they lack the touring pack.
Performance
With the 2023 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Street Glide® and 2023 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide®, H-D® introduces the Milwaukee-Eight® 121 V-twin engine. This new engine supplants the Milwaukee-Eight® 117 as the most powerful air-cooled engine in the Harley-Davidson® lineup. For the 2023 model year at least, these are the only models that will come standard with the new engine.
Infotainment
Another exciting change for the CVO™ Road Glide® and CVO™ Street Glide® is that Harley-Davidson® has introduced a new 12.3-inch color infotainment touch screen. This is the largest screen ever available on an H-D®. It debuts with these models and is exclusive to them for this model year. Both of these models also have a premium Rockford Fosgate sound system.
Technologies
Standard equipment includes electronic cruise control, anti-lock braking, electronic linked braking, traction control and drag-torque slip control. You also get the RDRS suite at no additional charge, and it includes TPMS, cornering enhanced ABS, cornering enhanced ELB, cornering enhanced TCS and cornering enhanced DSCS.
Customization
The same two designs are available for both of these models through Harley-Davidson® of Panama City Beach. The standard appearance, which is included in the MSRP, pairs a dark finish with the Dark Platinum paint. The premium appearance, which requires an additional charge, pairs a traditional chrome finish with the Whiskey Neat paint and Raven Metallic accents. Accessories are available for both models through the H-D® catalog. One of the more popular upgrades is the Tour-Park, and you can have it color matched to either the Dark Platinum or Whiskey Neat paint scheme.
Other Options
