Trikes or three-wheeled motorcycles are becoming increasingly popular, and the most popular trikes on the market are those made by Harley-Davidson®. If you’re interested in a trike and live in Panama City Beach or the surrounding areas, you’ll find all of the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Trike category models at Harley-Davidson® of Panama City Beach. The three Harley-Davidson® Trike category models are the Freewheeler®, Road Glide® 3 and Tri Glide® Ultra, and they all meet the needs of riders in different ways.
Freewheeler®
The Freewheeler® delivers a stripped-down trike experience. It’s similar in concept to a cruiser but with two rear wheels and a trunk, which all of the Harley-Davidson® Trike category models have. This model is powered by the Milwaukee-Eight® 114 engine, and other notable ride characteristics include no fairing, upright rider positioning, a passenger seat and floorboards. All of the advanced rider safety enhancements that Harley-Davidson® offers are included here standard, and there is no infotainment system or audio system and just analog displays. Vivid Black is the standard color option, and you also have the choice of either White Sand Pearl or Bright Billiard Blue with Billiard Gray.
Road Glide® 3
The Road Glide® 3 is the newest of the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Trike category models available at Harley-Davidson® of Panama City Beach, and the design goal of this model is to deliver what riders love about the iconic Road Glide® touring motorcycle but as a trike. The major difference between this model and the Freewheeler® is that it has a frame-mounted fairing and a windscreen. Some riders choose the Road Glide® 3 because they prefer the shark nose fairing but want a more dressed touring experience, and all of those necessary options are available as upgrades, including a touring pack with luggage carrier.
Tri Glide® Ultra
The Tri Glide® Ultra comes standard as a fully dressed touring trike, which means that it has the touring pack for additional storage. The touring pack also has an integrated backrest for the passenger. Another key difference between the Tri Glide® Ultra and Road Glide® 3 is that this model has the batwing or fork-mounted fairing as opposed to the frame-mounted fairing. Which is better really comes down to rider preference, and we recommend test riding both if you don’t know what your preference is.
