The Freewheeler® is the most stripped down of those three options, and to put it in the context of the other Harley-Davidson® families, you can think of the Freewheeler® as the cruiser of the bunch. If the Freewheeler® is a stripped-down cruiser, then the Tri Glide® Ultra is a fully dressed tourer. It also features an integrated backrest for the passenger, and both the rider and passenger seating are more robust than the Freewheeler® to provide comfort over longer periods. The Road Glide® 3 is the newest option among the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Trike category models, and the design goal was to deliver everything riders love about the iconic Road Glide® but in a three-wheeled form factor. This a touring trike as well but not as fully dressed as the Tri Glide® Ultra as it lacks the touring pack and passenger backrest. Another key difference is that it has the shark nose or frame-mounted fairing as opposed to the batwing or fork-mounted fairing.
